Wanna hike up a volcano? After a crazy busy year, my girlfriend and I decided to follow the birds this winter and and get some cheap flights to the French Antilles. Lucky for me, Melissa is fairly fluent in French – or at least enough to get us around this hot gem of an island. Expect killer street food, mind-blowing landscapes, volcanic hot springs & jungles. Perfect! Sign me up. This was exactly what we needed to escape the blustery, cold NYC. If you’re looking for a modest adventure in the Caribbean outside of your typical resorts, this is your jam.
