Ashley and Rocco tied the knot amidst the pink June roses at their Elegant Blue Hill Stone Barns Wedding. For those unacquainted, Blue Hill at Stone Barns is a world class farm-to-table restaurant in New York’s Hudson Valley, with a focus on ingredients sourced directly from the center’s own farm. Ashley and Rocco wanted nothing more than a sense of ease and light-heartedness for their wedding. Spontaneous sing-alongs and drinking games were a prerequisite in their day. Aunts and cousins rushed in in the morning to surprise Ashley with a choreographed dance and sing-along rendition of “Chapel of Love”. The couple had had a long engagement, which was strengthened by the covid lockdowns. Rocco’s food blog and nightly extravagant dinner preparations were a joy for Ashley, an avid foodie. Rocco, a bit shy, and Ashley, an extrovert with nothing but jokes and laughs, made the pair a perfect complement to one another. Humor was clearly the fuel and the glue that kept these two going. The tears poured as Ashley and Rocco’s officiant, a trained actor and comedian, kept them as well as their guests in side-splitting laughter.
