Melissa + Nate’s Fontainebleau Inn Wedding Details
The Back Story, from The Bride… I didn’t have a clear vision for my wedding until I walked this amazing wooded path between the Fontainebleau Inn and the Lawrence Chapel on a warm fall day. The setting was perfect—it was romantic, casual, and fun.
We have amazing family that were able to help us with some of our favorite details. Nate’s sister is an amazing musician and performed the vocals during our ceremony. My mom is a talented seamstress and made the most perfect flower girl ensemble that converted from a fancy ceremony dress to a reception outfit.
One of my favorite moments was after the ceremony as we walked on the wooded path to our reception at the inn. We turned a corner and Nate’s parents surprised us with the guitarist serenading us as we walked past – it was a special moment just for the two us. My favorite crafted detail was the table décor that my mom, sisters, and I planned and put together. Each table had a mix of succulents and air plants in mismatch glassware that we collected from estate sales and flea markets. It made each table look unique and was a perfect favor for our guests to take home
