Kevin and Anna, two self described ‘nerds’ could not resist indulging in all their favorite pastimes as inspiration for their wedding. Torn pages from their favorite gothic novels, tarot cards and dark velvet draped over every surface of this Bowery Hotel wedding reception space. Their love for moodiness was offset by their incredibly warm and welcoming dispositions, the childlike qualities of their personalities amplified by their love for one another.

True to themselves they walked down the aisle to the classic tune of Howl’s Moving Castle, for anime fans, this is a classic. Anna wanted to honor her cultural heritage and donned a traditional gold Filipino wedding dress for the second half of her reception. It’s safe to say Anna and Kevin had the wedding of their dreams, surrounded and ushered on by a mob of cheering friends.
