This super sweet So Cal couple asked me to photograph them after their wedding in locations both nostalgic and beautiful: the La Jolla Cove, La Jolla Shores and Balboa Park. It was so much fun to make pictures of them in the same spots that I also used to play as a kid. The ethereal light made the afternoon even more magical. I was thrilled when at the end of the shoot, they both decided to go for a stroll in the ocean.
Shelly and Matt exchanged vows in my hometown of San Diego. It's no surprise that this stunning and savvy bride owns a boutique day spa called Lux Esthetics . Matt has been a renowned San Diego musician for years, but also owns and runs a San Diego independent record label called Gravity Records. He released and distributed The Rapture's first album.
